Antenatal Classes in Milton Keynes
The support you hoped your appointments would offer... plus everything they didn’t have time for.
A five week antenatal course in Milton Keynes offering in person, practical support.
My antenatal classes are held at Bow Brickhill Community Hall, Milton Keynes. Five sessions, 2 hours each. 10 hours of in person support that goes beyond the basics ,making space for your questions, your decisions, and what actually matters to you.
Whether this is your first baby or your third, whether you’re feeling curious, anxious, or a bit of everything, you’re welcome here.
Each session is 2 hours, offering you practical support, covering the stuff your appointments didn’t have time for, with space to figure out what’s right for you.
We’ll cover:
Week One: How Birth Works
Physiology, hormones, and how to work with your body (not against it).
Week Two: How did we get here?
Understanding the maternity system, birth rights, medicalisation of birth, navigating risks and evidence.
Week Three: Interventions & decision-making
Monitoring, induction, caesareans, pain relief. What it all means, and how to stay centred in your choices.
Week Four: Feeding without pressure
Breast, bottle, expressing, combo feeding.
Week Five: The fourth trimester
Postnatal recovery. Baby care. The mental load. What might shift in your body, your mind, your relationships.
You’ll walk away with:
A better understanding of how birth works
A clearer sense of your voice and your rights
Tools and language to advocate for yourself
A small community of people who get it
And maybe… a little more trust in yourself than when you started

Most people like to start antenatal classes between 28-34 weeks pregnant, but there’s no hard rule. If you’re a little earlier or later, that’s fine too. What matters most is that you feel ready to learn and have space to ask your questions.
